I have returned from the Outerbanks in North Carolina and I would like to show you the beauty of the beach. If you ever get a chance to go to the OBX beaches you must go. The weather was perfect and I enjoyed reading my books on the beach. On the way home we stopped at Duke University in Durham, NC. My daughter is interested in applying there for college since her grandfather and uncle graduated from there. The chapel and buildings on the campus are just beautiful.

Outer Banks, NC

I am in North Carolina! Right now I am staying in Corolla, NC. This is on the Outer Banks. I have been having trouble getting on the internet, so I will quickly try to post this blog. When I get home I will post some pictures. The weather has been great. The water is beautiful and the waves are perfect for riding. I have been relaxing on the beach by reading, walking, and swimming. It is so nice to spend time with my daughters and family. I will post again as soon as I can.

Day two of websites!

This morning started out very frustrating, but my website is coming along. It will soon be ready! I now appreciate all websites and how difficult they are to make! I will let you know when my website is ready to view. It needs some work that is for sure.

Welcome to my blog

Thanks for logging in to my blog! I am so happy you did. I am taking a college course and setting this up for you to see. My hope is that we can travel together. I will post about places and fun things I am doing, and I hope you will too. The summer is going by so quickly because I am having so much fun. My first travel spot was to West Virginia! My friends and I traveled to Davis, West Virginia. The mountains and scenery were beautiful. We enjoyed georgeous views of the countryside from atop the ski lift on the mountain.
After that trip my husband and I traveled to Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. See the pictures at the park home page http://www.nps.gov/hafe/index.htm. This was a very informational and interesting place to visit. We stayed in the Jackson Rose Bed and Breakfast and enjoyed our stay at this historical house.
My next trip will be to the Outerbanks! We head to Corolla, North Carolina and stay in our beautiful home. I will post some pictures when I return!
